Cxc
http://hem.bredband.net/[..]92/index.html
1033x
cxc is a console calculator that works pretty much like a TI83. It can handle trigonometric and hyperbolic functions, calculations with scalars, complex numbers, statistics (lists), matrixes, quaternions, and functions.

Handy Calc
http://www.ne.jp/[..]inux/timecop/
1033x
Handy calc is a small commandline calculator similar to GNU bc. It can be very helpful for random calculations during programming, etc.

Math Magic SciCalculator
http://sourceforge.net/[..]jects/mmcalc/
1026x
a robust scientific calculator that consists of a backend that can be used on the console, and to build a GTK+ frontend to be used as part of the Math Magic project

CIAC
https://sourceforge.net/[..]rojects/ciac/
1025x
CIAC (CIAC Is Another Calculator) is a calculator that resembles Matlab.

Wcalc
http://wcalc.sourceforge.net/
1024x
Wcalc is a very capable calculator. It has standard functions (sin, asin, and sinh for example, in either radians or degrees), many predefined constants (pi, e, c, etc.), support for using variables, "active" variables, a command history, hex/octal/binary input and output, unit conversions, embedded comments, and an expandable expression entry field. It evaluates expressions using the standard order of operations.
Wcalc uses intuitive expressions. For example, Wcalc will evaluate: 5sin4!7*2(4%6)^2 to be 221.96631678
Wcalc also comes in a commandline version that works on most (if not all) forms of Unix (including Linux and BSD).

Easy Stack Calculator
http://calculator.buetow.org/
998x
Easy Stack Calculator is a simple calculator written in ANSI C++ which uses a stack inside to process the equations typed into the command line interface.

ycalc
http://linux.maruhn.com/[..]ec/ycalc.html
989x
Ycalc is an enhanced calculator for X. It supports many more operations and has 99 memories.

XBc
http://xbc.sourceforge.net/
956x
a graphical user interface to bc. It's big advantage: input and output stay visible at all time for correction and comparation. Supports base conversions, scientific constants, number theory functions and more

rpCalc
http://bellz.org/rpcalc/
955x
rpCalc is a simple RPN (Reverse Polish Notation) calculator for X. It works much like an HP calculator, and all of the commands can be entered using the keyboard or a mouse.

grpn
http://lashwhip.com/grpn.html
948x
GRPN is a RPN calculator for the X Window system built using the GIMP Toolkit (GTK).

Leibnitz
http://www.newplanetsoftware.com/leibnitz/
0x
Leibnitz is the calculator you've always wanted (even if you didn't know it!), short of handwriting recognition. Unlike the typical calculator that implements the handheld pushbutton interface (which is only appropriate for handhelp devices!), Leibnitz takes full advantage of your computer's high resolution display, mouse, and keyboard.

SymPy
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/
0x
SymPy is a Python library for symbolic mathematics. It aims to become a fullfeatured computer algebra system (CAS) while keeping the code as simple as possible in order to be comprehensible and easily extensible. SymPy is written entirely in Python and does not require any external libraries.
